    Atlanta remains a top destination for large events, corporate travel, and regional tourism. The Atlanta Braves hosted the 2025 MLB All-Star Game in July and Mercedes-Benz Arena was selected to host the 2028 Super Bowl. Development activity near the airport and downtown remains highly active in anticipation of the 2026 FIFA World Cup but continues to decline from its peak.
